Dermalux Flex anti-ageing red light therapy facial uses an award-winning, FDA-cleared LED device to treat a range of musculoskeletal and skin conditions including wrinkles and acne. The device is CE Marked as a Class 2 Medical Device for Dermal Wound Healing and treatement of psoriasis in the European Union. It works by delivering optimised light at various wavelengths that have a therapeutic benefit to the skin. This light is absorbed by the skin cells mitochondria to stimulate energy production.

The Anti-Ageing modes uses predominantly red light & infrared light therapy for its skin rejuvenation benefits, as red light stimulates collagen and elastin production.

  • Dermalux® Flex Acne Blue Light Therapy Facial

The Acne modes uses predominantly blue light, along with red light & infrared light therapy for its anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and skin healing properties.

Dermalux Flex LED Blue Light Therapy Facial for treating acne and problem skin without irritation. This unique treatment uses LED light technology that delivers optimised blue light at 415nm to naturally neutralise P.acne bacteria. Helping to treat existing breakouts and prevent future breakouts from occurring. Along with small doses of red light at 633nm and Infrared at 830nm to encourage wound healing and help with scarring.

Blue light at the wavelength of 415nm is absorbed by a molecule called porphyrin.  P.acne bacteria contain abundant amounts of porphyrin.  The absorption of blue light by porphyrin creates singlet oxygen (free radicals) which are released into the bacteria, killing the bacteria.

A blue light therapy facial also helps to reduce sebaceous activity, therefore reducing oil production. As well as having an anti-inflammatory/calming effect on the skin, so helps to prevent future breakouts.

  • Dermalux® Flex Pain Management Light Therapy

The Pain Management mode is scientifically proven to relieve arthritic pain, muscle and joint pain. Using predominantly infrared light & red light therapy for their ability to increase micro-circulation, reduce inflammation and increase tissue repair. Can be used anywhere on the body.

Dermalux Flex is an award-winning, FDA-cleared LED device to treat a range of musculoskeletal and skin conditions including wrinkles and acne. The device is CE Marked as a Class 2 Medical Device for Dermal Wound Healing and treating psoriasis in the European Union and is effective at reducing pain and inflammation, as well as tissue repair.

It works by delivering optimised light at various wavelengths that have a therapeutic benefit to the cells. This light is absorbed by the skin cells mitochondria to stimulate energy production, as well as increasing microcirculation and decreasing arthritic and joint pain, muscle spasm and muscle and joint stiffness. Thanks to its superior ability to decrease inflammation within the tissues.

The Pain Management programme uses predominately Infrared at 830nm for its deep tissue regenerative benefits, along with small doses of red light at 633nm, along with blue light at 415nm for their anti-inflammatory and wound healing properties.

Thanks to the flexible panel design, the Dermalux Flex can be used to effectively reduce pain on all areas of the body.

The treatment experience is very relaxing, non-invasive and completely pain-free.

Following a single Dermalux® treatment, clients can expect immediate improvement in skin tone, hydration and overall radiance which will continue in the following days. Redness and irritation is calmed. However, most changes occur naturally over a course of treatment.

The number of treatments required for optimum results is subject to a number of factors including indication, lifestyle factors and other procedures that may be included in the overall treatment programme. This will be assessed during the consultation.

Results with LED Phototherapy are cumulative and a course of treatments taken in close succession is recommended for optimum results. Results can last for several months and regular maintenance treatments offer lasting improvement in the appearance and health of the skin.
